Please Note

where the tank is to be situated within

- 50 metres of a well, borehole or spring
- 10 metres of controlled water e.g. open drain, manhole cover, river, stream or lake
or

- if the tank's vent is not visible from its fill point
- if the capacity exceeds 2500 litres
- if any potential spillage could run over ground into controlled waters

then the tank must be bunded.

Bunded Oil Storage Tanks

	Bund contains a minimum 110% volume of the inner tank. Maintenance free. UV stabilised. Leak free. Corrosion resistant. Easy to install. “Tank-within-a-tank” construction offers integral protection from leakage and overfilling.
